Gymbound Membership Agreement

 Version 1.0 | Effective from 1st January 2026

This Membership Agreement sets out the terms under which you (“the Member”) join and use Gymbound’s facilities and services.

By signing up to a Gymbound membership, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to this Agreement, together with Gymbound’s Client Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

1. About Gymbound

Registered in England and Wales

Gymbound operates a fitness and wellbeing facility offering gym access, classes, personal training, and related services.

2. Membership Type

Your membership type (e.g. gym-only, classes, all-access) is confirmed at sign-up and determines:

  • Your access rights

  • Included services

  • Applicable pricing

Details are provided in your welcome email and/or member portal.

3. Membership Term

  • Memberships operate on a rolling monthly basis unless otherwise stated.

  • There is no minimum commitment period unless explicitly agreed in writing.

4. Fees & Payments

  • Membership fees are payable monthly in advance via Direct Debit or card.

  • Payments must be kept up to date to maintain access.

  • If a payment fails, Gymbound may suspend access until payment is resolved.

  • All fees are non-refundable, except where required by law.

Gymbound reserves the right to review pricing with reasonable notice.

5. Cancellation

  • You may cancel your membership at any time with 30 days’ written notice.

  • Notice must be given via email to vibes@gymbound.co.uk or through the member portal.

  • Access continues during the notice period provided payments are made.

6. Freezes (if applicable)

If offered:

  • Memberships may be frozen for up to 2 months per calendar year

  • A minimum of 7 days’ notice is required

  • Freeze requests are subject to approval

7. Use of Facilities

  • Members must complete any required induction or waiver before using equipment.

  • Equipment must be used correctly and respectfully.

  • Members must follow staff instructions, signage, and safety guidance at all times.

  • Please clean equipment after use — this is part of Gymbound’s culture.

8. Classes & Bookings

  • Classes are subject to availability and scheduling.

  • Gymbound may change instructors or class times where necessary.

  • Missed or late-cancelled classes are non-refundable unless stated otherwise.

9. Health & Medical Responsibility

By becoming a member, you confirm that:

  • You are fit to exercise or have sought medical advice where appropriate

  • You will disclose relevant injuries or health conditions to staff

  • You exercise at your own risk

Gymbound is not responsible for injuries arising from misuse of equipment or failure to follow guidance, except where caused by negligence.

10. Code of Conduct

Members must:

  • Treat staff and other members with respect

  • Avoid harassment, discrimination, or abusive behaviour

  • Respect personal boundaries and consent

  • Behave appropriately both in person and online

Gymbound reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership for breaches of conduct.

11. Personal Training & Third Parties

  • Personal training may be delivered by Gymbound staff or self-employed trainers.

  • Self-employed trainers operate independently and carry their own insurance.

  • Gymbound is not responsible for private agreements between members and third-party trainers.

12. Personal Property

Members are responsible for their own belongings.

Gymbound is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal items brought onto the premises.

13. Data Protection

Gymbound processes personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

14. Suspension or Termination by Gymbound

Gymbound may suspend or terminate membership where:

  • Fees remain unpaid

  • There is a breach of this Agreement or Gymbound policies

  • Behaviour puts others, staff, or the facility at risk

Termination does not affect outstanding payment obligations.

15. Changes to This Agreement

Gymbound may update this Agreement from time to time.

Members will be given reasonable notice of any material changes.

16. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

17. Acceptance

By signing up to a Gymbound membership, you confirm that you:

  • Have read and understood this Agreement

  • Agree to be bound by its terms
